Lexar USB Stick Stuck In Write-Protect Mode

This happened when I ejected the USB stick and thought it had finished ejecting.

When you try to format the device you get "The disk is write protected"

I tried a many low level format tools, including disk management tools, the only thing the worked was UfixV.
