Change Network Location From Public to Private in Windows 8.1

You are probably as frustrated as I was.
Microsoft all we need is a Button that says Public, Work and Private and it switches instantly as it does in windows 7. Click on Home network then change it to the desired network.

In windows 8 the network card was stuck on Public network.

The only way to fix this is to Disable and then re-enable the network card.
To do this Go to Start then Control Panel, then Network and Sharing Center, then on the left select Change Adapter, then right click on your network connection (Ethernet or Local Area Connection).

Click Disable, then Enable

Back to Private Network.
