Change Windows 8 To Look Like Windows 7

I assume you are sick of that crappy windows 8 desktop.

When I purchased my laptop I thought I would be able to change the desktop theme to look like the windows7 theme.

After hours of trying to restore the old start menu I gave up.

I even tried to ring Microsoft to get a downgrade, but they could not help, I needed to purchasing a new key.

Why wouldn't you give the customer the option to choose a desktop theme.

1st  I installed : windows-start-menu-vistart.exe - http://lee-soft.com/vistart/

Then I installed : DesktopGadgets.N.exe - http://winaero.com/blog/exclisuve-how-to-get-desktop-gadgets-and-sidebar-back-in-windows-8/

The old desktop will come up for a moment or so then ViStart will take over.

In the ViStart control panel you can disable the Windows 8 corners, Charmsbar, Drag to close and win 8 Start.

Having some floating point errors so I have switched to Classic Shell.
