I have created a calendar.csv file to import into Outlook for Australia residents. It has has a list of public holidays & reminder times programmed in for you.
Before you import the calendar, create the folder names. On My Calendar, then click on File then Create New Folder. Enter a name, then in the "folder contains field" choose Calendar Items. Under the where to place the folder click on personal folders and then Calendar. Press OK.
Do the same as for each person you want to add calendars for.
To import this calendar, go to https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AgjqRgkVKt1IdFlRTE5pUG51TmpzYklvVHpKdnRRU3c&hl=en&authkey=CIrd2jQ
Download the file, click on My calendar in Itunes, then the name of the person you want to import this calendar for.
Now go to File, then Import And Export, then Import From Another Program Or File, then Comma Seperated Values Windows, then choose the location of your csv file, make sure there is a tick in the "Import Calendar.csv In This Folder" then choose Finish.
When you plug the IPhone in to sync your phone, you will need to untick all calendar, instead tick selected groups and choose the Calendar folder group you want to sync.
In Itunes this is done by clicking on your phone name on the left hand side then then on the top tabs click on info (itunes 10). Scroll down to "Sync Calendar With Outlook", choose the names you want to sync on that Iphone, then scroll down further to advanced and under Replace Information On this IPhone tick Calendar.
