Vacron DVR iPhone App

Try using either IP cam viewer pro or the VacronViewer App (FUHO TECNOLOGIES)

VacronViewer : https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/vacronviewer/id780070117?mt=8

VacronViewer : Android : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fuho.vacronviewer&hl=zh_TW

In IP Cam Viewer I choose FUHO and picked one of the 4 models they had at the time worked fine.
Or you can use the Automatic search tool it works for nearly all models of DVR or Cameras.

Download the App

IP Cam Viewer Pro : https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/ip-cam-viewer-pro/id402656416?mt=8

IP Cam Viewer light : https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/ip-cam-viewer-lite/id397322405?mt=8

Run IP Cam Viewer, select Manage cameras icon, then select Manage cameras,

Select Options

Select Scan Cameras

Type in the Cameras IP address, Port number, Username and Password.
Click Scan Now.

This will automatically try all the different model listed in its database and if any work they will list them below.

Select one press Save, then back, then back again.

Yawcam With Latest Java Update

Version Yawcam 0.4.2 + Java update version jre-8u66-windows-x64.exe

Version 8 Update 65 chrome version didn't work

Uninstall old versions of Java (Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features)

Go to : http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre8-downloads-2133155.html

I downloaded and installed : jre-8u66-windows-x64.exe for my 64bit Pc

Yawcam 0.4.2 working again : http://www.yawcam.com/download.php

**********************************************************************************************

version 8u40

When installing chromeinstall-8u40.exe latest version of Java Yawcam fails to start

When you run Yawcam you get this “Opens With” window. (Version Yawcam 0.4.1)

Be careful do NOT not Browse for the Javaw.exe file otherwise you will associate all EXE files with Javaw.exe and you will be left with is a PC that will not function.

If you have done this already you will need to login as another user or boot into safe mode and restore the PC to an earlier time.

I updated java on another machine and had the same problem but decided to uninstall all versions reboot the reinstall but again the same error.

I noted that one PC had version 7.75 and Yawcam worked but after a few days windows did an update and Yawcam stopped once again.

To get Yawcam going again I decided to check my Java paths by going to  Control Panel, System,  Advanced system setting, the Environment Variables are correct in Environment Variables.

My path was C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin;C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_40\bin;C:\Windows\System32;C:\Windows\System32\wbem

Now C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin;C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_40\bin;C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_40;C:\Windows\System32;C:\Windows\System32\wbem

I added the path C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_40 into the environment variable but this still did not help.

Fix

I copied Java.exe and Javaw.exe into C:\Program Files (x86)\Yawcam

How To Set SNTP Or NTP Time Server For IP Cameras

In this example I have an Altronics S 9684 IP camera
I have logged into the camera and scrolled down to SNTP

You will need to enter the NTP server found at : http://www.pool.ntp.org/en/
On the right hand side select your desired server in my case Oceania then Australia

As you can see I have 4 servers to choose from

Entered the NTP server into the Camera settings,in my case au.pool.ntp.org
press save first then sync.

or you can just use your gateway IP address of the router

Make sure you set your Time and Daylight savings time otherwise the times will still be incorrect.

Make your way to : http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/

In my case : http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/australia/melbourne

You now have current time as well as the daylight savings Start and End times.

Port Forward On Billion BiPAC 7800VDPX

Trying to work out how to port forward on your Billion Modem

In this example I have a Mobitix camera and will be port forwarding port 3003

You don't always need to use the port number they have suggested in the DVR manual you can sometimes choose your own.

To allow port 3003 through the modem I needed to set up (Ip Filtering Incoming) in the Security settings and (Virtual server) in the Nat settings.

What we are trying to do is get Port 3003 to the right computer or device

First step is to open port 3003 through the modem

Login into your Modem

On the left hand column click on Configuration, then Security, then IP Filtering Incoming

Click on Add, then In filter name add any name you want say Mobotix

Under Protocol choose TCP, some cameras may need Tcp /Udp

In the Destination address place the Ip address you have entered into you DVR in my case 192.168.2.50 you will need to enter this in two fields (see below)

In source and destination port enter 3003

Click apply

Now all that is need is to allow the External port 3003 to talk to the Internal port which is also Port 3003.

On the left hand column click on Configuration, then Nat, then Virtual Servers

Click on Add, then under Customer service enter the name your chose earlier mine was Mobotix.

Under Server Ip Address enter your DVR's IP Address mine was 192.168.2.50.

Under external port Start and End enter 3003 and Internal port enter 3003

You have now allowed port 3003 to talk to your DVR

Because your DVR has that port numbered entered into its settings the modem will send request to network and ask what device is using port 3003 and the DVR will say "ITS ME" and receive the video stream.

Next is to open the DVR app on your phone and enter in the settings

Just remember the Ip address or host address on the app will actually be your WAN ip address not your local 192.168.2.50 unless you only want to view your DVR locally on WiFi only.

Avtech Dvr Will Not Display Live View

If when you login to your Avtech Dvr you get a Login error but the Dvr displays the Ptz camera live but not the Live view the screen is black, read on.

I spent hours on this as well as trying to get the backup tab to work.

For backup isues see : http://www.blogger.com/publish-confirmation.g?blogID=7718950093526274616&postID=5244585881124860781&timestamp=1347102957212&javascriptEnabled=true

I had unistalled all virus programs as well except microsoft essentials.

Still not working.

In IE9 I went to Tools then Delete Browsing History, tick all then hit the delete button.

Now click on the settings icon, then safety, then Webpage privacy policy.

I highlighted the first one http://192.168.2.50:5005/index (my dvr ip) then clicked Summary and chose Always allow this site to use cookies, then on clicked on settings and pulled down the privacy settings to accept all cookies.

Once I have done everything I need with the DVR I will place privacy back to a higher setting.

Hope this works for you.

Yawcam  : http://www.yawcam.com/download.php : Worked a treat.

Install Yawcam,  Enable Stream on the control panel window

Click on settings, then edit settings

Under the Connection category you should see that it has detected your wan IP (External Ip address)

Click on Whats my URL ?

This will give you the http address needed for local and external view of your webcam.

Don't Forget to port forward the necessary port, in this example I used the default stream port 8081.
Must forward  Tcp/Udp.

Setup EasyN Ip Camera

From your web browser key in : Http://p2.easyn.com Or http://p1.easyn.com/

If you Know You IP address : local Ip address you can enter this into the browser Eg Mine Was 192.168.2.19:81 Must have Port 81 after the IP address.

From here you can download the PC software or iPhone app or android app

The original Ip camera App : https://itunes.apple.com/cn/app/easyn-p2/id726829569?mt=8 : Shenzhen EasyN Technology Co.

I Installed the PC Software it picked up the camera and gave it an Ip Address

I was also able to use my favorite universal Camera app: Ipcam Viewer

Type Camera I used = EasyN F-M1BF  port was port 81 User = Admin Password Blank

Once you know your Cameras local Ip address you can enter this into the browser Eg Mine Was 192.168.2.19:81

I then was able to highlight wireless LAN settings and connect to my home wireless network and change any other settings that I needed to change.

Once that is done you should now be able to unplug your network cable and connect via WiFi.

Yawcam Please Reinstall The Application

See my other post : https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=7718950093526274616#editor/target=post;postID=3904564761464472986;onPublishedMenu=allposts;onClosedMenu=allposts;postNum=0;src=postname

******************************************************************************

After you install the application then try to run it you get (please reinstall the application) error.

I tried to uninstall, reinstall, update java still had the error.

Fix:

Windows 7, Go to Start, then Right click on Computer, then Properties, Then Advanced System Settings, then click on Environment Variables.

On my Pc under user variables, I had nothing showing in Path, so I went looking for Java .exe.

I found this at C:\Program Files\Java

I had 2 folders 1st jre6 and the other jre7

I copied the jre7 location into the path variable

So it looked like C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin

I then tried to run yawcam again but it didnt work.

So I then tried C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin

Ran again and the program loaded fine

Hope this helps.
