Rename Files The Same Name As Folder

You have folders that are labelled correctly and you want to batch rename the files inside each folder the same name as the folder it resides in.

The version I am using is 3.57

Install and run Advanced Renamer

On the left bottom corner you will see New Name, click on it, click the plus on the left hand side of New name window

Click on - Extension

This will place in the new name window.

Click on the add button, Click directories,  choose the directory of the files you want to change.

If you want to ignore the Vob files, click on List, then click on Remove erroneous items.

You may be left with some nfo , inf , txt files, you will have to manually untick these.

If you have too many to manually untick, click the word Extension, this will organize the extension of the files in order, you can now select all the files extesions to get rid of, then right click on the selection, go to Mark, then unmark selected.
