In windows 7 you can check the data rating of the USB root/hub by going to :
Start, then Control Panel, then Device Manager, Expand Universal Serial Bus Controllers drives and right click on Usb Root Hub, go to Properties, then Advanced tab. This will tell you the hub speed.
Low Speed = USB 1.0 = 1.5 Mbps
Full Speed = USB 1.1 = 12 Mbps
High Speed = USB 2.0 = 480 Mbps
Super Speed = USB 3.0 = 5 Gbps
Here you will see what speed that port is working at.
The first usb hub on my computer came up as full speed, which means this is a usb 1.1 hub.
Do this for all the Usb Root Hubs
The Last two USb Root Hubs were High Speed = USB 2
