Realtek Quadraphonic Not Working

The quadraphonic setting doesn't work on my media Pc under realtek audio manager.

In my case I have 6 Audio jacks on my Asus P8P67 motherboard.

Default values are:

Pin01 - Green Jack - Line Out - Front Speakers - 04 00 00 00
Pin02 - Black Jack - Rear Out - 05 00 00 00
Pin03 - Orange Jack - Center/Subwoofer - 06 00 00 00
Pin04 - Grey jack - Side Out - 07 00 00 00
Pin05 - Pink Jack - Microphone - 01 00 00 00
Pin07 - Blue Jack - Line In - 00 00 00 00

Hex value to Change it to:

00 00 00 00 - line in
01 00 00 00 - Mic-in
02 00 00 00 - headphones
04 00 00 00 - Front speakers
05 00 00 00 - Rear speakers
06 00 00 00 - Center/subwoofer
07 00 00 00 - Side speakers

Go to Start then type regedit, double click on it

In my case I found it under Drv6235_DevType_0892_SS10438469 if you have newer version then this number will be different.

Make you way to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E96C-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\0000\Settings\Drv6235_DevType_0892_SS10438469

In the registry I reconfigure Pin02 Rear black Rear Out (Rear speakers) to Line out (Front Speakers) 04 00 00 00

After the registry change you must reboot for the changes to happen.

Be aware that this may change after a Realtek driver update, it hasn't happened to me as yet.
