I cant get the app store to display purchases.
When you click on app store app, then updates, then purchases no purchased apps appear.
You will get loading message for 20 seconds or so then it goes white for another 10 seconds then shuts down the app back to the main screen.
It will display all apps in the Featured, Top Charts, Search, and Updates without an issue and you can purchase apps, update apps fine, its only when you click on purchases that you have an issue.
By the way I have logged into my account from my wife's iPhone 5 and my purchases work fine also it works fine on the Ipad, its only my account on my iPhone.
If I log into my wife account on my iPhone it also brings up her purchases fine.
I tried resetting phone many times, reset network, reset all settings, restore phone, did the time date year change thingy, International language change, Region change, and rebooted between each change, and changing nearly every setting on the phone, without any luck.
I spoke to support, they got me to try the same things I already had done for the last three days.
This took about 40 minutes over the phone, after that they have been in contact via email.
The email states that there is a known issue with ios6 and phone's only no other devices.
I don't believe this to be right because my wife's account works on my iPhone and vice versa.
They also admitted that there is have had some security issues, these issues will affect only some people and it was probably due to many of the security information on my account not being set.
During this time I logged into https://appleid.apple.com Manage your Apple ID and notices that I didn't have the 3 digit code of credit card entered and various other information that was never set on my account and had been working fine for years. I also noticed that my password did not meet their requirements and that I had never set the security questions.
Because there was no reset option there to reset the questions I had to ring them to reset. This was done by them sending me a code to my mobile, after they verify the code, you then will be sent an email to reset the security questions.
After all this was set including a new password, my account was now up to their standards but my phone still does not work.
Last thing left to do was de- auth all PC to this account, Unfortunately I had done this a few months ago when I reinstalled windows, you can only reset your account once a year.
I am now waiting for them to de-authorize the account so I can then see if that fixes the issue.
As i said to the person on the phone, "you could have emailed me that there was a issue with the account or even better send me a message on my phone".
Not happy.
