I tried to run remote desktop on an iMac 27".
The window was too small, by default : 768 x 1024
FIX
Go to Finder
Then Documents
Then under the Rdc connections folder
There is a file called default.rdp
Highlight it, then go to file, then open with, then other, then scroll down a select the text edit.
Press open
Look for the words desktopsize, change Height and Width as required.
We changed ours to Height of 1440 and Width of 2560.
