You want to change the background wallpaper image to your own image but not sure where to place the image in Windows 7.
Go to = C:\Users\YOUR PC NAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Themes
Create a new folder, say My Wallpaper.
Copy any new images you download into this folder.
Right click on the desktop, go to personalize, click on desktop background
Next to picture locations, click on browse.
Find your way to C:\Users\YOUR PC NAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Themes\My Wallpaper
Choose the image you want to use for your background, then press save changes
