The Ness m1 gold tells you to use 17vac plug pack in my installation instuction manual Nov2009.
This has changed to 17dc laptop power supply (you will need a clover power lead).
"Due to new Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) Regulations in Australia, M1-G panels are now supplied with a high efficiency DC power supply instead of an AC transformer.
This update is required for the controller to operate with the DC power supply. "
