Delete All emails From Your IPhone Inbox

To delete all of the emails in your iPhone's inbox, follow these steps:

Open the Mail app on your iPhone.

Tap on the "Inbox" folder to view your emails.

Tap on the "Edit" button in the top-right corner of the screen.

Tap on the "Select All" button at the bottom of the screen. This will select all of the emails in your inbox.

Tap on the "Trash" icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Confirm that you want to delete the selected emails.

This will delete all of the emails in your inbox and move them to the "Trash" folder. If you want to permanently delete the emails, you will need to empty the "Trash" folder as well. To do this, go to the "Trash" folder and repeat the above steps, selecting all of the emails and then tapping on the "Delete" button.

Reset Network Setting Iphone

To reset the network settings on an iPhone, follow these steps:

Go to the "Settings" app on your iPhone.

Tap on "General."

Scroll down and tap on "Reset."

Tap on "Reset Network Settings."

Enter your passcode (if prompted).

Tap on "Reset Network Settings" to confirm.

Your iPhone will now reset its network settings, which will erase all of the saved Wi-Fi networks and passwords, as well as any other network-related settings. This can be useful if you are experiencing issues with your iPhone's connectivity or if you want to start fresh with your network settings.

Note that resetting the network settings will also disconnect any Bluetooth devices that are currently connected to your iPhone. You will need to re-pair these devices after the reset is complete.

Delete All Emails On The iPhone At Once In A Mailbox

Trying to delete all emails from the inbox or sent, currently you can only delete all emails from the Bin.

Earlier version did have a trash all button, but that has been removed awhile ago.

If your anything like me you don't want to swipe left on each email to delete.

This little trick works

First select the mail box with the emails you want to delete in my case my gmail inbox

Make sure you are NOT on ALL Inboxes, otherwise you will delete all emails including all other mailboxes.

In the inbox folder tap edit

Then select any email

Keep your finger held down on "MOVE" the while BRIEFLY clicking on that same email you just highlighted with a blue tick, remove both fingers. This will take you a few goes to master.

Be careful this cannot be undone, but if you have come to this blog then your probably fed up with the inability to delete all emails at once.

If you do this from the wrong folder say the ALL INBOXES FOLDER you will delete all emails from all mailboxes, you MUST be in the inbox you want to delete, and it will delete every email in THAT inbox.

Now click on Bin, this will move all email in the inbox into the bin without having to select all the emails and deleting them. In my example below 105 emails.

I do have some mailboxes that I delete emails manually, but for this email address which I use for my security cameras images can be all deleted once viewed.

Drag the Heic files straight into the program

IPhone Text And Email Alert Notifications Not Working

After the latest update 12.1.4 some people with iPhone's have experienced problems getting text or email alert notification.

The notifications are received but without the alert sounds.

Fix
Go to setting, then notifications, then messages , then sounds select default note

People I have spoken to with this problem say their alerts are from classic sounds.

The easiest way to fix the issue is to momentarily change the alert to one that is not from classic sounds, say the “note” alert, then get someone to text or email you.

Once you prove the alerts are working again then place the alert back to your originally alert.

Go to settings, then notifications, then messages , then sounds select your original alert tone.

iPhone - A Device Attached To The System Is Not Functioning

For People who are not using iTunes and are copying the files over manually from iPhone to windows PC

When I transfer photos or Videos to my PC I get this error message
"A Device Attached to The System is Not Functioning"

Photos don't seem to be an issue, its large videos files over 1 Gig or copying too many videos at once will cause it.
To fix it I would unplug the iPhone then plug it back in and try again, or even turn the iPhone off then back on. Copying videos 1 by 1 was the only way I could get it to work reliably but this did not always work.

FIX that seems to work at present was to go to iPhone settings then Photos then scroll down to TRANSFER TO MAC OR PC then select Keep Originals instead on automatic

Update

In summary - If you don't want to see the above error message above or and have to connect and reconnect all the time and spend countless hours backing up your photos manually.

1) Transfer to pc : Automatic mode : copy all videos only and not the photo's unless you want them in Heic mode which without third party software you cant view or convert

2)Transfer to pc : Originals mode : copy all photos only
the HEIC photos will change to JPG's.

This is what i do and yes i know it a pain but its the quickest and you will keep your sanity. APPLE PLEASE FIX

This doesn't happen if you have a Mac this is for Windows PC's only

Every time you change modes on the iPhone you must disconnect and reconnect and enter your password.

Computer Restarts When Plugging In An iPhone To The USB Port

I had an issue that when I plug in a USB stick, drive or any other USB device into the computer it would work as normal, but as soon as I plugged in my iPhone the computer would reboot with BSOD (blue screen of death)

I tried to remove all gigabyte drivers but that didn't make any difference.

I then rebooted to safe mode and it worked, I could plug in the iPhone with it rebooting, so i new the issue must be a driver and not hardware.

Fix

Downloaded : usboblivion-1.11.6.0.zip from : https://www.cherubicsoft.com/en/projects/usboblivion

Ran usboblivion, it it removed all USB drivers then rebooted, the USB ports worked with the iPhone again.

iPhone Messages Backed Up To PC

The quickest way is to get an app called iMazing : https://imazing.com

I tried this program on a windows 7 machine with my iPhone 6 Plus

Install the app then connect the iPhone to the PC, run the program.

I noticed that after i had connected to it once the next time iMazing was able to pick up my iPhone via the WiFi network.

Click on Messages, then Export to PDF, Export to Text or Export to CSV

I found that some old messages that had been deleted, were present

In settings, then messages, message history, my messages settings was set to "keep forever".

Not sure if this means that after a message is deleted it keeps the message or the automatic deletion is disabled, either way some old messages were still present, maybe iCloud backup was saving them?

Great little backup program
